MIlwaukee Film Festival

So strange. The Giant Spider Invasion , “rice crispies and rabbit turds” continue to attract the crowds. And, this writer is most thankful for the continued interest and support of the crowds that showed up for the Milwaukee film festival showing on october 6 at the oriental theater in Milwaukee. Thank you Mark
Borchardt ( American Film) for making a successful screening out of it.  Even though
it was only in the digital medium. With the enthusiasm of the audience
I should have been running for governor or some political office . Could not
get a more loyal group of Wisconsinites together then this.
In all , events like this are a reminder that GSI was the first and only
main stream feature film made in Wisconsin that became an international
top grossing success and spread the word on the badger state.
Irrespective of the wide spread piracy issues still on going , it can be safely
said that GSI has become am enigmatic Wisconsin movie icon. And hopefully
spurred on young film makers to pursue more film production in our great
state.
