THE “PAULDING LIGHT” A TRUE UNSOLVED MYSTERY

Scientists, researchers and astronomers have researched it for over a half a century. Speculation and wild
theories are still abound. Absolutely no one has provided a definitive answer to the light known world wide as ; ” THE PAULDING LIGHT” A confirmed mystery of the upper peninsula of michigan. Producer Director Bill Rebane the first to spend over two years investigating the phenomenon and presenting it to the public on film , to this date maintains that this phenomenon could well challenge the scienific community and it’s research at its best.
While the United States Forrest Service is determined to explain it away as being of ” ghostly Origin”. No evidence has surfaced to confirm such speculation.
The Discovery network show ‘Fact or Fake” batted zero with it’s investigations into the light. Finally giving up on it and confirming that it was indeed “fact “rather then fake. In short. A true unsolved mystery”.
The new re released Digital documentary a regional best selling DVD is now spurring even further interest and investigations into the one and only mystery in North America yet unsolved.

Video piracy affects Saxon , wiscconsin Resident

Over one million dollars in monetary losses claimed by a Saxon resident from video and internet piracy of movies. Five out of twelve feature motion pictures produced and directed by Saxon resident Bill Rebane are earning millions of dollars on a global basis for video pirates which include Google and other major internet conglomerates, and not counting hundreds of other independent internet, distribution manipulators. Internet video piracy in all, cost the Motion Picture industry billions of dollars annually while Congress is dragging it‘s feet to enact legislation for further copyright protection extending into internet streaming practices.
While Rebane is one of many Independent Producers facing the loss of income from this problem, he is one that has taken the bull by the horn through a network of interested fans in tracking down piracy operations according to Rebane. It has cost himapproximately $50 to $ 100 thousand dollars a year in lost income. Multiplied by 10 to 14 years comes to far over a one million dollars.

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1996 addresses the issues of copyright protection but, did nothing to address electronic piracy and streaming on the internet.

Rebane, while semi retired from the film industry living in Saxon, is joining the efforts of Media and Studio giant Rupert Murdock to press for urgent legislation so copyright protection is extended to include electronic copying and theft of literary property on the internet .

Currently the only road block is the White House and the Obama administration siding with Silicone Valley, and soft ware producers, who claim congressional actions will step on free speech and first amendment rights.
Complete idiocy Rebane says, as then, the White House might as well lobby or pass an executive order giving the public at large a license to steal.

Just last week Rebane filed criminal complaints with top Federal and State prosecutorial agencies in Massachusetts, Wisconsin and next week in Indiana, to which piracy of his movie titles can be traced.

This is by no means a trival or small issue for Wisconsin, stated Rebane who for over thirty years built and operated the one and only full time feature film studio complex in gleason Wisconsin. Even in semi retirment his new production entity would turn residiuals and income from his films into further theatrical production efforts , that would result in jobs, a flow of revenues into the nortern Wisconsin area and promote tourism.

With a bit of time on my hands and getting away from writing, been doing some research on independent film activity in general. And it is sickening. Some things are drastically wrong. Have looked at
dozens of trailers and indy production companies. These kids have not a clue of what film is all about.
While I am a great supporter of young film makers the situation is more then tragic. These young people in chasing their dreams think that expensive equipment and computer gimmicks will help them succeed.
What is amazing to me is they attract decent talent. Some that would have good screen potential but is wasted because there is no substance, meaning or good story content or material. Most of what I am seeing is sci-fi horror gimmick oriented crap. The market for such is other young people who also do not know what movies are all about. From the very beginning movies have been a means of entertainment. For film makers a creative expression with purpose of providing
entertainment and escapism. The imagination takes
care of all you cannot see. That’s why we were given
a brain. Not one that takes everything away and we loose that asset of humanity when we get hit over the head
with visuals, blood guts and horror. There is nothing
left for the imagination. And that is the death of good

Ever since the innovation of the internet, streaming , downloading and
the free viewing of movies. Intellectual property abuse and theft has been
blatant . Robbing writers, producers and directors of their
royalties while dissipating their works. Since the prosecutorial agencies
contrary to popular belief, don’t give a damn . What can the injured
parties do? Very little or nothing, unless they have deep pockets and
can afford to pay lawyers. Piracy crosses not only state lines but
International borders as well. Lawyers want big retainers for such
complex and often convoluted legal actions.
Try the FBI? Forget it . They are busy protecting us from terror threats.
The Department of Justice? Another joke.
So what’s  left to do ? One has to ask. Expose the bastards that are
doing it. From here on in, the bastards don’t dare look at this blog.
Where the truth and facts are exposed for the world to see.
The list will grow as more producers wake up to the
reality that there are some bad people out there
without scruples or reservations to steal tangible and or
