In connection with issue of prostitutes, Some states decided to publish the
name of the jon’s when caught in the act . That’s the most stupid idea
and ordinance ( wherever adopted.) Doing essentially the same thing with
video piracy and publishing the names of he thief ‘s on the other hand is
not so stupid or or bad. The difference lies  with the scope and damages
for the  blatant criminal behaviour ( verus stupidity)
Men seeking out prostitutes is a personal matter and a non issue
with this writer. It’s called personal responsibility . Video PIracy is not the
same. It’s a felony and and serious criminal and  breaking the law.
In the ongoing quest to stop such crimes, it ‘s again time to
attempt to stop such criminal abuse of the laws. ( or don’t they mean
anything … Anymore ?

Here’s the list of the real bad ones.
Navarre Corporation. MInniapolis, Thiefs and they don’t care.
Victor Ives, Oregon .Retromedia Entertainment , Chatsworthe CA. And then
there are the real big one. Internet Movie data base., who publish
information  which is not true . Puplic Domain Torrents . The biggest crooks in the
field of piracy. Claiming that they only provide the means with which
to down load protected titles. Then there is Dan Kleinman Craze Digital
who just uses any titles to market them in foreign countries and
electronically.. A real Schmuck who operates out of a warehouse front in
La la land. Then there is Louis Louzil , La la land ( That’s Hollywood.)
under the banner of Echelon Entertainment. The list goes on , but we
take it one step at a time and get the facts. And by the way, There is
now a lawyer in Oregon that is taking on the  poor slobs  that don’t know better
and down load protected materials . Yes they are most guilty and paying
heavy fines  in ignorance of  downloading copyrighted stuff. So don’t
download anything . Or big fines may hit you. And for that matter there are
the big guys. like Google, Yahoo and Amazon are also guilty in
assisting in these illegal practices. But , the ygot a hundred lawyers and
money to get off free. “Claiming  they   are only the conduit and providing a services.
bll shit. When in reality they are promoting illegal actions.

A pirate is talking. Phil Hopkins called back upon request to talk about
mistakes?  Not realizing that he and Film Chest pirated 6 pictures
and marketed them for 10 years at big losses to this writer.
Well, at least he’s talking and attempting to stay our of jail.
I am listening. Anxious to see where this goes.
As a bottom line it is encouraging to see someone responding and
at very least trying to correct wrong doings . Not bad for openers
and more power to him . and Synergy and film Chest.
PIracy watch  is up to date and  going all the way to congress to make changes
in this rotten business of free for all I.P piracy.

Well now, there then,…. A word from a pirate has been received. Not directly
but through his lawyer of course . Threatening this writer with libel and slander
action for prior writings ,which happen to be the facts and the truth.
We understand the truth can hurt. But if one makes the bed. One has to lie it it .
The Attorney for Phillip Hopkins of Synergy Entertainment Inc. Fellow by the
name of Mitchell R . Olson of Madison Wisconsin probably has not done the
research on his client and does not realize that what is said on my blog is
public information. With copies of the whole enchilada sitting in the offices
of prosecutorial federal and state agencies.
Best yet , is the fact that Mr. Hopkins who often became very confused about
facts , dates, deeds and stories told. May have forgotten that he himself
disclosed the details of his illegal actions and deeds to this writer. I assume
he did that to evoke sympathy and convince this writer and spouse that
he could be trusted and is going straight.
Strictly an opinion. One would think the prudent thing to do  would be  to reach out
to the injured and settle on issues that if perpetuated will just cost him
a ton of legal fees and invite further exposure if not some serious prosecution
by federal Agencies. And I would certainly press criminal charges for every single criminal deed from the very start.

There are laws on the books. As one can see with the Boston issue . The NSA-The FBI- The Department of justice can not get their act together of how to
prosecute and bring to justice a bomber terrorist. It’s worse then a huge mess. Benghazi just keeps floating out there as well. So how can any one
in hell expect the law to work in less important issues.?
I write about video piracy researched for l4 years. Thoroughly. Investigation
concluded from viable prosecutorial agencies and those who are supposed
to enforce the law have not a clue of what to do. Or just too Lazy to do it.
Keep in mind the general public is paying their salaries. In the Meantime
back at the ranch,…. ( They call it congress) our elected representatives
all lawyers, continue to brainstorm, create and write new laws for every
little problem that pops up. For What? Tall about suppression, or
oppression. There are enough laws on the books that just gives the lawyers
more to do and bigger incomes. while we the public and the injured
keep being bled dry . And loose our freedoms  more  every flucking day.
It’s sickening and it does not matter what side politically one is on.
Put this is your pipe and smoke it for a while and think.

Congratulations; You certainly earned your title as king of the Video pirates.
Confirmed, admitted and investigated . Few people in the movie industry
can claim such a prestigious title, Pass on so much B.S. and con  to the elderly.
Anyone who has pirated for so long, committed federal law violations
and title 17 of federal law for 10 years ,must sleep real good.But who
sleeps when once is ripping off money from other peoples efforts?
The wheels of the law turn slow. But with a Hopkins Synergy Entertainment
track record of collusion, con and B.S. they will get there.

A detective story and How to catch a thief.

Years of losses, research, and writings. Finally some definitive results.

Not only can we talk about it . But finally can point the finger at one of

the worst of pirates. with all the documentation and proof in black and white.
A year and a half investigation by a prosecutorial agency and a l60 page
report it looks like Synergy Entertainment and it’s president Phillip
Hopkins has been involved in criminal activities in connection with IP theft
Illegal copying , copyrighted properties and  selling stolen works to
third parties.
Facts;Around 2003 he( Hopkins ) acquired illegally of course some six film titles
owned by this writer . He had no scruples of transferring my titles to
a third party ; Digital One stop Distributors ( aka Mill Creek Entertainment)
A legal issue arose between these parties. Outcome: Phil Hopkins and his
partner Film Chest received a settlement of some $ 200.000 Dollars.
It get’s better. After the transfer  of the titles to Digital One Stop
Hopkins kept right on marketing the same titles under the Synergy
Film Chest banner. ( that’s nerve)
2005 This writer discovers that Digital One Stop is selling The Giant Spider
Invasion with changed artwork widely on the inter net and major retail outlets
globally. Plus five other films of this writer. Given to them by Phil Hopkins
and associate. Upon confronting the CEO of Digital a  restitution deal is reached
in form of a legitimate licensing agreement That would pay for damages
in form or royalties from retail sales. ( The only title not included would
be The Giant Spider invasion.) Meanwhile back at the Ranch,…Phil Hopkins
is still marketing all of the films illegally. When confronted in 2008
Hopkins pay’s restitution for One film and another licensing agreement
is negotiated for the rest of the films with Hopkins  as restitution. A reasonable arrangement since one
can not squeeze blood out of a turnip . The licensing agreement entered into
early in 2010 was to last for 3 years. ( a trial period).   It works until in
June 2011, when it is discovered that not all venues for the films  show up on the
mandatory accountings. And Synergy and Hopkins admit in writing that
all the films have indeed been pirated since 2007. ( four years short) but
never the less an admission and enough for legal actions.
May 2011. This writer is preparing an action against the original Distributor
of the Giant spider Invasion for being l6 years behind in mandatory reports
( Group one Intl Films. )When Hopkins and Synergy interfere in an attempt
to obtain the negtive materials of the Giant Spider Invasion and coerce
this writer into signing a mutual release with Group one Films. Loss $ 400.000
The investigation records are now with the FBI and Dept. of Justice.
The cat is out of the bag now .And surely there will me more to come.

Unprecedented Film Festival Challenges Gun Control efforts

The Cinetarium film festival May 3rd-5th, 2013 to take place at the Plaza Hotel in
Wausau will be a cut above the average film festival.
While the platform of the Festival is to promote and encourage independent
film making and Wisconsin film history with emphasis on Hollywood’s golden
era ( l930 to l960’s)the festival crosses into the line of politics and national
controversy with its message is “ Movies “ more dangerous than guns.
The issue of violence in movies and how such relates to young film viewers
around the globe
While scientific proof of violence in film and its effects on the human mind are
insufficient or provide definitive conclusions. Unquestionably, films made
under Hollywood’s production code of ethics for decade’s better portrayed
traditional American values without the need of excessive graphic violence.
It is the viewpoint and opinion of Independent Artists Pictures that it is our right
under the constitution to own guns without supervision of the federal
government.
Our mission is to bring such topics into the light as we wrestle with the question,
Do violent movies cause an increase in violence ? Or , does increased
violence in movies decrease violent behavior?”
The issue of violence in movies and how such relates to young film viewers
around the globe will be a topic for discussion between independent film

Unbelievable. What do American’s do and think when they finally realize that
this great nation  is becomig the weakest and most vulnerable nation in the world?
The entire world already knows, we have a corrupt and in fighting government.
Are weakening our defenses. Are the targets to massive cyber war fare from
China and and are a cultural disaster. What culture?
It does not take brain surgeons or professors to see where this is going
Just a tiny bit of intelligence and common sense goes a long way.
The Obama administration is a travesty and a road to dictatorship type
socialism. I if not full blown communism.
Where are the patriots? Good God America . Wake up.
Things will get worse. How long will it take for Korea or Iran to
play with their nuclear arsenal . The cold war years were nothing
to what we are facing now. I don’t know about any one else,
but I see disaster. And one does not have to be a conspiracy lover
to see the big picture.
Wake up America.

This lady is a winner. The only one to pick up and blast gun control “Obama Style” and make the connection between violent Hollywood so called Entertainment fare and gun violence. As a reminder , anyone can scroll back on

this vital issue to the fore front.
Seems though, now we have another problem. The Entertainment Merchants
Association lobby. And, not to forget who the president of the Motion picture
Producers Association is. No other then the man that brought us the Frank Dodd
Bill . Senator Dodd himself. With organizations and leadership like that ; No worry: Hollywood, it’s Suits, it’s sluts and it’s gun and violence merchants are
are well protected and will continue to poison the minds of our young people. Obama will keep  his mouth shut because it’s Hollywood  that supports him big time.
